The SandraFoundation is pleased to announce the Yonairis Smith Memorial Fund
The Yonairis Smith Memorial Fund is designed to memorialize the life of Yonairis Smith and all of her passions that she stood for during her life. Yonairis Smith passed away in January 2022.
During her life, she championed many passions of hers, including raising funds for NF2 clinical research.
The Yonairis Smith Memorial Fund is also to be known as "YSF". YSF will become its own entity under the Sandra Blake Memorial Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 2006 to memorialize the life of Yonairis grandmother, Sandra Blake, who lost her battle to cancer in 2005.
The Sandra Blake Memorial Scholarship Foundation, also known as the SandraFoundation, has raised to date nearly $200,000 in scholarship funds for students demonstrating financial need.
YSF will launch its efforts to raise funds for, and to empower those who battle NF2, the same disease Yonairis battled during her life. Yonairis was a passionate ambassador for those within the NF2 community and therefore, YSF will continue to advocate and fundraise on behalf of NF2 victims.
In an effort to launch YSF, Alpha Drones USA, Inc., agreed to partner with Highgate Hotels. Under the Alpha Drones USA and Highgate Hotels business service agreement, Alpha Drones USA agree to donate 10% of the net value of the service agreement to YSF to memorialize Yonairis and to also fund projects she was most passionate about.
Under the Highgate Hotels and Alpha Drones USA business service agreement, Alpha Drones USA will be cleaning building exteriors for Highgate Hotel properties globally for years to come.
10% of net income earned from this service will be donated to the Yonairis Smith Memorial Fund.
